MOKKKKKKKK is the album from Brazil’s extreme metal band Torches of Nero. This is a technical black/death metal album, some would say black metal, some would say death metal, but really to me this is simply extreme metal played the way it was meant to be. MOKK in this case is Torches of Nero paying homage to FUKK, the Sadistik Exekution way. This album is not trying to be like Sadistik or trying to copy that style, but it is using some of the same words, a few lines here and there that Sadistik did back in the day. This album is also referring to the FEELING OF DEATH, as I have said many times in the past, especially in interviews. So here we even have one song named THE FEELING OF DEATH. So most of the material on this album has some of that feeling of death and the feeling of anger and hatred and feeling of anti trend metal that I have always mentioned over the years. Also we have a track called Sadistik Raids, which is partly paying homage to Hellhammer and early Celtic Frost, as it is very well known that I am a huge Hellmamer and Celtic Frost fan, so this song combines some elements of Sadistik Exekution with Hellhammer and Celtic Frost and it’s done very fukking well!
